Delivery and Returns

York Cycleworks Returns Policy


In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition* within 30 days of payment. You must notify us in writing at info@yorkcycleworks.com within 7 working days of your intention to do so quoting your order number.


*When trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume/aftershave or a deodorant that may leave a scent or marks on the item. In the case of cycling shorts please ensure that underwear is worn when trying them on. The item(s) must be returned in the original packaging with all labels and tags attached and with all enclosed documentation.

We withold the right to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.


Restocking Fee


All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee and this will be deducted from your refund.

We also do not refund the original shipping that you paid on your order.

Exchanges

If your clothing item is in like new condition, you may exchange it for a different size or colour. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you will still have to pay for the return shipping.


Bike and Bulky Items Returns

If you wish to return your bike to us please keep it in the box that it arrived in and call us on 01904 626664 in the first instance.


Please do not ride the bike as a full refund cannot be given if the bike has been used or damaged.


The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

The parcel can take up to 7 working days to be processed once received.


Return Items to the store.


The item must be returned in “showroom condition”, with its original packaging, tags and with a valid receipt/delivery note.


New Faulty Items/Wrong Item Received


If you have received items that are faulty or not what you ordered send them back to us using the steps above and we will cover the delivery cost of the item if it is returned to us within 14 days of delivery. If we have supplied the correct product, it is not faulty or it is outside of the 14 days we cannot be liable for your postage charges. You should always keep proof of postage and we advise that you use a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.


Not Received Your Order


If you have not received your order please call us on 01904 626664 and a member of staff can confirm the shipping date. Unfortunately we cannot consider an item lost until 15 working days have passed.
